Aizel Izza Performed Opera Classics at the JNA Awards 2015

Every year, JNA (Jewellery News Asia), organiser of the prestigious JNA Awards, brings in world-class entertainment, some of the best we have ever seen anywhere, to the JNA Awards Ceremony and Gala Dinner. Aizel Izza performed three opera classics at the 2015 JNA Awards .

Aizel performed three best opera classics including Giacomo Puccini’s “O Mio Babbino Caro” from Gianni Schicchi, Andrew Lloyd Webber’s “Think of Me” from The Phantom of the Opera, and Georges Bizet’s “Habanera” from Carmen, with string musicians from Jubal Music Academy.


About Aizel Izza
Aizel Izza is a two-time solo-voice prize winner of the National Music Competitions for Young Artists in the Philippines. As an alumna of the internationally-acclaimed ensemble, The Philippine Madrigal Singers, Aizel was able to intensify her musical artistry as she travelled extensively around the world.

Her opera and musical production appearances include, Harana: A Musical Journey, L’Enfant et Les Sortileges, Vittorio Gianinni’s Beauty and the Beast, Mark Adamo’s Little Women, L’Elisir d’Amore as Gianetta, La Sonnambula as Lisa, and La Traviata as Violetta.

Established in 2011, Jubal Music Academy houses professional musicians from different local and overseas music colleges. Jubal Music provides professional music service, and is active in local professional orchestra and pop concerts. In the past four years, musicians of Jubal Music have performed over 100 live performances.
